The ceremonial meeting of the Admissions Committee of Ternopil National Medical University took place on August 12, 2026, with the aim of enrolling this year\u2019s applicants in state-funded and tuition-based study programs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Chair of the Admissions Committee and Rector of TNMU, Professor Petro Lykhatskyi, proposed enrolling 313 students in the first year of the Medicine<\/strong> program under state-funded places, 10 students in Dentistry<\/strong>, 8 in Pharmacy<\/strong>, 34 in Paramedic<\/strong>, 31 combat medics<\/strong> in the Paramedic program, 8 in Nursing<\/strong>, and 93 in Therapy and Rehabilitation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

TNMU applicants received recommendations for all 525 state-funded places<\/strong>, while the actual fulfillment of the state order reached 95%<\/strong>. This is the university\u2019s best result in recent years and demonstrates that applicants have made a conscious choice in favor of TNMU. Thus, 498 applicants<\/strong> took the opportunity to obtain a high-quality medical education at TNMU at the expense of the state budget.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the same day, students were also enrolled in tuition-based programs<\/strong> for the first and second years of study. These included Medicine<\/strong> \u2013 33 students, Dentistry<\/strong> \u2013 154, Pharmacy<\/strong> \u2013 23, Paramedic<\/strong> \u2013 8, Nursing<\/strong> \u2013 49, Clinical Psychology<\/strong> \u2013 45, Nutrition Science<\/strong> \u2013 15, Biology<\/strong> \u2013 7, and Applied Linguistics<\/strong> \u2013 3 students. In total, 341 applicants<\/strong> chose tuition-based study.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a result, the TNMU student community has welcomed 839 new students<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Admissions Committee reminds applicants that the submission of documents for tuition-based study will continue until August 20, 2025<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
