The Fulbright Program is one of the world\u2019s most prestigious academic exchange programs, funded by the U.S. government. It provides scholars with direct access to cutting-edge laboratories, archival collections, and technologies at leading U.S. universities. The program is unique in that it goes beyond short-term academic placements, fostering long-term international research partnerships and promoting the integration of Ukrainian scholars into the global research community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\" wp-block-image size-large eplus-wrapper\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"396\" height=\"460\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/image001-1-396x460.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-190011\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/image001-1-396x460.jpg 396w, https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/image001-1-116x135.jpg 116w, https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/image001-1.jpg 579w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 396px) 100vw, 396px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"eplus-wrapper wp-block-paragraph\">Iryna Zalipska\u2019s research project, <strong>\u201cProfessional Medical Communication in Times of War and Extreme Circumstances,\u201d<\/strong> will be carried out at Vanderbilt University over a period of nine months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"eplus-wrapper wp-block-paragraph\">The relevance of this research is driven by the fact that military hostilities and extreme situations radically alter the nature of medical professionals\u2019 work, requiring them to communicate instantly, clearly, and with psychological sensitivity under conditions of constant stress. The ability to communicate effectively with wounded patients, their relatives, and colleagues in critical circumstances directly affects the speed of clinical decision-making, the reduction of medical errors, and the preservation of human lives.
