On 7 October 2026, Ukrainian and international students of I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University donated more than 10 litres of blood. The initiative was launched by TNMU students from India, and 23 people took part in this act of kindness. The event was dedicated to honouring the memory of the heroes who lost their lives in the ongoing war, expressing the student community\u2019s gratitude and solidarity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Staff from the Ternopil Blood Centre set up a donation station in Dormitory No. 1 of the University. All those wishing to donate blood underwent health screenings to ensure they were fit to donate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event was initiated by Associate Professor Olena Pokryshko and Vikash Kumar Gupta (group IM-645). To support the students, Olena Volodymyrivna also took part in the blood donation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both international and Ukrainian TNMU students actively participated in the event and expressed their sincere gratitude to the staff of the Ternopil Regional Blood Service Centre for their professional guidance and support throughout the donation process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
