Each year students Ternopil State Medical University are actively involved in actions and events to observe the International Day of Persons with Disabilities. This time it was fifth-year students from the Faculty of Medicine \u00a0who shared \u00a0their \u00a0warmth with kids with disabilities. Serhii Makarov, Iulia Tiushenko, Tania Kryzhanivska, Nadiia Tkachuk, Iulia Halysh, Anna Mahniuk, Oksana Galushka, Hanna Haborets, Iana-Maria Iatsyshyn participated in the charity event \u201cBelieve in yourself\u201d, which took place last week in Ternopil Regional Academic Actor and Puppet Theater. The event was organized for families raising children with disabilities. During it, our students and other volunteers together with the children made Christmas cards, Christmas decorations, and conducted master classes.<\/p>\n

Also participating in this event was Ternopil mayor Serhii Nadal. He viewed the exhibit of children\u2019s works, participated in the workshop and expressed thanks to all participants and gave children gifts. In addition, as a gift from the mayor, the kids were treated to a puppet show.<\/p>\n
