On September 20, 2023, a meeting with the 6th<\/sup> year students of the Faculty of the international students took place. The University officials included Dean of the Faculty, Professor Maria Marushchak, representatives of the Dean\u2019s office, the guarantor of the educational program, Professor Oleksandra Oleshchuk, Associate Professor of the Department of psychiatry, narcology and medical psychology Oleksandra Sas.<\/p>\n

During the meeting, the aspects of ensuring the educational process, the possibility of improving practical skills at the simulation center and directly at the patient’s bedside, the research work of students scientific groups, preparation for Step-2, and all other questions, arised by the students, were discussed.<\/p>\n

The guarantor of the educational program, Professor Oleksandra Oleshchuk, explained to the students about the uniqueness of our educational program, the wide possibilities of forming an individual educational trajectory of the students, the profiling of 6th-year students, the integration of the work of the simulation center into the educational process throughout the entire course of study, access to modern educational web-resources.<\/p>\n

Oleksandra Oleshchuk thanked the students for their interest in improving the educational program, as the results of the questionnaire of applicants as internal stakeholders are always taken into account when reviewing the educational program.<\/p>\n

Students of the 6th year also expressed their admiration for modern approaches to education, and also spoke favorably about the possibility of choosing their own educational profile, among surgical, therapeutic, obstetric and gynecological profiles and the profile of family medicine.<\/p>\n

In connection with the war in Ukraine, students’ anxiety and concern for their psychological state, the higher education administration also invited Oleksandra Sas for a meeting, who spoke about the wide range of psychological support for international students. In this difficult time for all of us, psychologists of the University and crisis intervention specialists from all over Ukraine and the world have united for a common goal – psychological support of our future – our students. The Center for Psychological Counseling is actively functioning at the University, all information about its activities can be found on the website of our University.<\/p>\n

At the end of the meeting, students were given the opportunity to fill out questionnaires regarding the quality of the educational process, the educational environment, the quality of teaching, the possibilities of realizing their educational needs, and the prospects for the development of the educational program.<\/p>\n

The administration of the University and the entire research and teaching team are proud of students who have made a decisive and courageous choice in their lives in the direction of obtaining an education and acquiring professional skills and competencies.<\/p>\n
