On April 8-10, 2024, TNMU hosted the XXVIII Congress of Students and Young Scientists, dedicated to the 170th anniversary of the birth of Ivan Horbachevsky.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the ceremonial opening of the event, Rector Mykhaylo Korda expressed his sincere excitement regarding offline format of the Congress: “Such a large hall of enthusiasts and young scientists gathered. We have guests from other universities of Ukraine as well. Today, we received more than 500 abstracts for the conference. And it’s very good that young people continue to do science, despite such difficult times that we have today in Ukraine,” the Rector emphasized.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mykhaylo Korda noted that TNMU has created many opportunities for students and young scientists to engage in research: there are research\/scientific students’ groups at the departments, as well as five state-certified laboratories are currently functioning at the University. All this leads to high productivity, and, accordingly, ensures the leading places of our University in international and all-Ukrainian rankings<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is extremely gratifying that international students took an active part in the Congress this year, presenting the results of scientific research by publishing theses and giving oral presentations at various Sections of the Congress. The intellectual potential of students, as well as powerful scientific schools and highly qualified scientific and pedagogical staff, made it possible to prepare extremely interesting scientific reports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
