September and October are packed with exciting events in the field of open science, both in Slovenia and abroad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In September, the series of presentations on the topics related to research data returns, while the first training course for data professionals, starting on 23 September 2024, and the 2nd national event of the project, on 10 October 2024, are approaching.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Abroad, a number of conferences and meetings are expected to address research data management topics from different perspectives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The SPOZNAJ project is organising a series of presentations on open science aimed at the general public, particularly research, professional and library staff. In September and October, we will continue with presentations on the topic of research data that we started in March.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Invitation to participate in the autumn training for data experts<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This autumn, the SPOZNAJ project consortium will conduct training for individuals who will be acting as data stewards or related profiles of data experts (e.g. data archivists, data librarians, data managers and data consultants) at their parent organisations. This will be the first such training for data experts in scientific research activity in Slovenia<\/strong>. We have designed it following the example of similar trainings abroad, e.g. Data Steward Postgraduate Course of the University of Vienna<\/a>, 4TU Essentials 4 Data Support<\/a>, EOSC Synergy Data Steward Training<\/a>, etc. The training will be carried out by staff employed by consortium partners and selected foreign experts. Lectures will be held predominantly in Slovenian.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
