Objective: The S\u00e3o Paulo Research Foundation is pleased to invite applications for its Investigator
Grant for International Researchers to boost the scientific and technological leadership of S\u00e3o Paulo in multiple areas of knowledge.
Eligible Activities:
FAPESP wants to recruit up to twenty researchers who demonstrate exceptional expertise in their respective fields. This call is open for researchers of all nationalities necessarily working and living abroad for at least 2 years who wish to establish or start a research career at research institutions located in the State of S\u00e3o Paulo. It seeks to stimulate the creation of opportunities, under internationally competitive conditions, for researchers with exceptional research backgrounds.
Areas of Research:
Aviation, Biodiversity, Bioenergy, Bovines, Cancer, Citri culture, Climate Change, COVID-19, Diabetes, Drugs, Ecosystems, Graphene, Green Chemistry, Internet of Things, Obesity, Quality of Life, Social Inequality, Sustainability, Virus, Water Resources, Yellow Fever, Zika virus, Dengue, Chikungunya and other arboviruses.
Eligible Applicants:
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must be working and living abroad for at least 2 years in research
institutions, sponsored by international sources (postdoc, research fellow, and\/or permanent positions);
Applicants must demonstrate exceptional expertise and leadership in their respective fields, which should be evidenced through their scientific trajectory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Evaluation Criteria
An evaluation committee will judge the submitted proposals considering the following\u00a0criteria:
Originality, innovation and impact;
Project importance and contribution to scientific knowledge;
Suitability of investigators\u2019 scientific background to the project.
Application Requirements
Although collaborations with established groups at specific topics are allowed and
encouraged, a competitive proposal must have a clear and independent line of
research.
Research project must be written in English.
