Applicants are expected to pursue their own research, which can relate to any region in the world and is ideally related to contemporary, public or digital history, broadly understood. Fellowship holders will be assigned to one of the centre\u2019s research departments and asked to present their current project in a seminar or colloquium. The fellowship carries a monthly reimbursement of 1,200\u20ac for accommodation and 1,800\u20ac for living expenses (these amounts should cover all expenses, including travel to Luxembourg).
