On September 20, 2021, a number of sports events took place in the Sports Centre of I.\u00a0Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University on the International Day of Student Sports.<\/p>\n

The celebration began with a performance by a new cheerleading team. The students planned to show their choreographic routine a year and a half ago, but it was prevented by quarantine and strict restrictions. And now we all have the opportunity to support young people and their desire to represent the university at various events. The initiators of such a team were\u00a0Max Lysiuk, Maria Maryniuk, Solomiia Livak.<\/strong>\u00a0Kateryna Dziuba, Marta Dobrianska, Mariana Kryzhanivska, Sofiia Zadorozhna, Yulia Biiak, Khrystyna Martynyshyn, Oleksandra Pohudyna and Yurii Bednarskyi are a part of the team as well. During the master class on sport dancing, the participants learned the basic steps of cha-cha-cha and waltz. It was presented by\u00a0Solomiia Livak<\/strong>\u00a0(group MM-421), the winner and finalist of national and international tournaments, student of the Faculty of Medicine.<\/p>\n

Also, a master class in gymnastics was delivered. The basic elements of this sport and the technique of their implementation were introduced by\u00a0Yulia Hlad<\/strong>\u00a0(group MT-303), the student of the Faculty of Medicine (Physical Therapy, Ergotherapy specialty), Master of Sports.<\/p>\n

Volleyball master class was presented by\u00a0Yana Palyha,<\/strong>\u00a0the student of the Faculty of Medicine (Physical Therapy, Ergotherapy specialty) (group MT-302). Before entering the university, the girl played in the Khimik team of the superleague (Yuzhne).\u00a0Nadiia Viniarska<\/strong>\u00a0(group MT-104) and\u00a0Yulia Zolotiuk<\/strong>\u00a0(group MT-103), the students of the Faculty of Medicine, assisted her.<\/p>\n

Viktor Nazaruk<\/strong>, Associate Professor of the Department of Physical Therapy, Ergotherapy and Physical Education, Master of Sports, introduced the technique of swimming to young people.<\/p>\n
