EDUCATIONAL WORK

Educational work at the Institute’s departments covers all areas of educating a young person and is carried out in accordance with the main provisions of the Concept of future doctor and pharmacist’s personality development, which provides not only deep professional knowledge, but also understanding of the human soul and heart, the ability to understand another person. In general, the teachers of the Institute’s departments conduct educational activities in the following areas: national and patriotic education, moral and ethical education, aesthetic education, charity and volunteering.

NATIONAL AND PATRIOTIC EDUCATION

 One of the important areas of educational work at the Institute is national and patriotic education, which is aimed at the preservation of national culture, the historical heritage of the Ukrainian people, its heroic actions in the protection of national interests. Every year, teachers and students participate in city and university events commemorating the Heroes of Kruty, Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred, soldiers of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army (UIA), and Anti-Terrorist Operation etc.

MORAL AND ETHICAL EDUCATION

 The development of person’s moral and ethical values is of great importance in the training of today’s highly qualified health care specialists. Students and teachers of the Institute take an active part in various events aimed at ethical education.

AESTHETIC EDUCATION

The implementation of aesthetic education, which involves emotional perception of the surrounding world, self-awareness and aesthetic taste in music, cinema, architecture, students’ everyday life, is persistently carried out by the tutors of the Institute’s departments. The aesthetic aspect of educational work is implemented through the following activities:

CHARITY AND VOLUNTEERING

One of the areas of educational work at the Institute is volunteering. Since the beginning of the war with Russia, participation in volunteering activities has become the priority approach in raising conscious citizens and patriots of our Motherland. The Institute staff and students willingly participate in volunteer projects and social initiatives.
