About us
The Center for Mental Health of Ternopil National Medical University is a modern unit established to provide comprehensive diagnostics and assistance for adults and children in the field of mental health.
We work according to the principles of evidence-based medicine and a humanistic approach. The center operates with a multidisciplinary team that includes adult and child psychiatrists, a psychotherapist, a clinical psychologist, and a nurse.
Our mission is to make psychiatric and psychotherapeutic care accessible, professional, and free from stigma. We provide outpatient care both online and in person at the center, as well as organize mobile teams that allow us to support patients in the most convenient format for them.
Main areas of work:
- diagnostics and treatment of mental disorders in adults and children;
- crisis and psychosocial support;
- psychotherapy and rehabilitation;
- work with families and communities;
- educational and preventive programs;
We strive not only to provide treatment but also to foster a culture of mental health within the university and society.
