ACADEMIC AND RESEARCH INSTITUTE OF PATHOLOGICAL PROCESSES SIMULATION AND ANALYSIS
The Academic and Research Institute of Pathological Processes Simulation and Analysis of I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University was established by the Order of the Rector of the University No. 201 as of June 8, 2005 and has been operating since July 15, 2005. The Institute is a structural unit of the University. It is located in the academic buildings on 7 Hetman Doroshenko Street and 3 Olena Teliha Street.

The staff of the Institute include 4 doctors of sciences in medicine, 5 doctors of sciences in pedagogy, 1 doctor of sciences in history and 1 doctor of sciences in technology, 14 PhDs in medicine, 13 PhDs in pedagogy, 14 PhDs in philology, 6 PhDs in history, 3 PhDs in philosophy, 2 PhDs in law, 1 PhD in economics, 1 PhD in physics and mathematics and 3 PhDs in technology.

The departments of the Institute offer tuition for both Ukrainian and international students of all University faculties.
Training is conducted in 43 classrooms.
More than 60 virtual educational and testing computer programs and video films have been created for students. They can be used by means of video systems during practical sessions, as well as in the process of self-training in order to effectively master practical skills in various courses. All educational materials are presented on the University's web site in the “Intranet” system.
The departments of the Institute are supplied with the required number of textbooks and manuals. At the same time, teachers of the Institute's departments are constantly working on new teaching materials that meet all modern requirements. The Institute’s staff include authors and co-authors of more than 45 textbooks on the relevant disciplines, more than 86 study guides and 11 monographs that are used in the educational process of many universities of Ukraine.
