TNMU WAS WELL REPRESENTED BY MAKSYM LYKHOLAT AT THE 18th JUDO UNIVERSIADE OF UKRAINE
On April 3-5, 2023, the 18th Summer Judo Universiade of Ukraine was held in the city of Lutsk on the basis of Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University. 163 athletes representing 33 higher educational institutions from 18 regions of Ukraine took part in the competition. At these competitions, our university was represented by a 2-nd year student of the Faculty of Medicine (MM-210), candidate in master of sports Maksym Lykholat. The student ran 7th among 23 participants in his weight category and brought 21 credit points to our university. During the fierce competition for prizes, our student lost to the European Cup Champion. It should be noted that Maksym Lykholat is a prize-winner of international and all-Ukrainian tournaments, a bronze prize-winner of the Championship of Ukraine and the 3rd Summer Gymnasiade of Ukraine.
The student expresses his deepest appreciation to the university administration for the support and financing the trip to the tournament, special thanks to the coach for the opportunity to represent TNMU at the Universiade.
