Dental Department
The Dental Department of the University Hospital of I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University was established in 2016. It is located in 7 Olena Teliha Street.
The work of the Dental Department includes: preventive examinations, treatment of caries and its complications, treatment of diseases of periodontal tissues and oral mucous membrane, as well as surgical interventions to remove teeth followed by dental prosthetics with crowns or prostheses.
The Dental Department is equipped with 35 modern dental units with an intraoral video camera for better demonstration and monitoring of the performed manipulations. Also, the Department has modern diagnostic equipment: an X-ray machine for targeted X-rays, an orthopantomograph and the state-of-the-art dental microscope.
Since the beginning of the Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, free dental care has been provided to military personnel as one of the areas of volunteer activity of I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University.
