Ghanaian Student Community

Greetings from the of Ghanaian Students Community at Ternopil National Medical University. We are an association that brings together all Ghanaian students studying in Ternopil. A unique feature we possess is that our association offers a common platform for Ghanaian students in various universities to meet, connect and build relationships. We are not just a community here, but a home away from home for Ghanaian students who are pursuing their education in Ternopil, Ukraine. Together, we form a strong support system to help each other with social and school integration, cultural and environmental adaptation, language learning, academic aid, and any other issues that may arise.

The challenge of adapting to a new environment, especially when it is far away from home, is a familiar one. Change can be daunting, but meeting people from your country who share your culture, language, and sense of humor can make the transition much easier.

As a means to connect with the Ukrainian community and other international students, we occasionally showcase the vibrant spirit and cultural heritage of Ghana by organizing cultural events and displays, engaging in international-student programs, and a tapestry of other activities in the university. 

Our goal is to create an environment that facilitates academic and general excellence and where Ghanaian students can feel a sense of belonging.
