The final event of this year’s activity of the Ternopil branch of the European Medical Student Association, whose members are students of the State Institution of Higher Education Ivan Horbachevsky Ternopil State Medical University of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, organized the national Assembly of the EMSA Ukraine. The event was attended by 95 students from different cities of Ukraine.EMSA is operating currently in 8 cities in Ukraine. All of them carry out their activities under the jurisdiction of designated medical university.

During the opening ceremony, on behalf of the administration of TSMU, the Dean of the International Students Faculty Professor Petro Selskyy congratulated the participants and administration of EMSA. He wished for fruitful work and all sorts of well-being, and also encouraged young people to engage in scientific research, to be active during their studies, to participate in various conferences.

Students of the TSMU Hubert Mikosza and Christina Vrublevska, Vinit Musle and Vaibhav Tripathi showcased their talent at the opening ceremony. Performer “Kalina Chorna” received a flurry of applause, which included Esther Omonijo Opeyemi, Oki Babas Puamus, Chika Isiguzo Precious, Sarah-Eunice Dilli.

The next day, the conference participants had an opportunity to hear interesting and useful information about new medical science achievements, to inspire further activities during lectures of invited guests, to participate in practical workshops, to present reports during the plenary session.

Plastic surgeon Avofaa Gogo-Abite and cardiologist, member of the European Association of Cardiologists Anna Titova enlightened the participants.
The National Assembly of the European Medical Student Association was organized by EMSA Ternopil which comprised of the president of the Organizing Committee Parth Sabya Sachi, Vice President of Project Management Akinade Ayomikun, Finance Vice President Arshbeer Sandhu, Vice President of HR Samir Hayatullah ), local coordinator Salaudeen Al-Awwal Taye Ayoola, local coordinator Zuzanna Betkowiak. Emsa Ternopil was honored with the Most active FMO in Ternopil.
