The next ranking of universities in the world Ranking Web of Universities (Webometrics) for January 2022 has been published. It reflects the affairs of institutions of higher education during the second half of 2021. The ranking is made by the Cybermetrics Lab of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) at the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation. The developers publish it twice a year – in July and January.

In the new rating Ternopil National Medical University is the first among the medical universities of Ukraine and the first among the universities of Ternopil region. TNMU was also sixteenth among 313 Ukrainian institutions of higher education. In total, this time the representation in the web space was estimated for more than 31 thousand universities around the world.
