This award is for the researchers of I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University for development of scientific potential of the university, raising its rating and popularization in Ukraine and abroad.

The applicants submitted their papers regarding the areas of:

1) achievements in research on theoretical medicine and pharmacy;

2) achievements in research on clinical medicine and dentistry;

3) achievements in research on social sciences and humanities.

The main criteria for selecting the award winners were the results of completed research; a series of scientific works published in professional publications of Ukraine and abroad, which are part of the scientometric databases Scopus and Web of Science; awards at national and international scientific forums; gaining and commercializing patents for inventions; presentation of their scientific developments abroad.

The commission analysed the submitted works and agreed on the winners.

Winners of the Competition for I. Horbachevsky Award on 2021

Study by Iryna Boiko, Inna Krynytska “Microbiological diagnosis of gonococcal infection, antibiotic resistance and genomic epidemiology of Neisseria gonorrhoeae in Ukraine” took the first award in “Achievements in research on theoretical medicine and pharmacy”.

Regarding “Achievements in research on clinical medicine and dentistry” the first award went for the study “Development of specialized telemedicine equipment and medical rehabilitation methods for remote rehabilitation of patients with injuries and musculoskeletal disease” by Andrii Tsviakh, Andrii Hospodarsky, Oksana Shevchuk.

On the subject of “Achievements in research on social sciences and humanities” the commission awarded the first prize to the study “Volyn village in the 19th century” by Valerii Didukh.

Regarding “Achievements in research on clinical medicine and dentistry” the first award went by Ihor Venher, Sviatoslav Kostiv, Boryslav Selskyi, Ihor Faryna, Mykola Orlov.

On the subject of “Achievements in research on social sciences and humanities” the commission awarded the first prize to the study by Tetiana Khvalyboha

The study by Liliya Logoyda, Kateryna Peleshok took the first award in “Achievements in research on theoretical medicine and pharmacy”.

Winners will be awarded with certificates and cash prizes.
