UniRank university ranking (University Ranking – https://www.4icu.org/ua/) recently published the results for 2023. The list of universities of Ukraine includes 181 universities. I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University took the first position among medical institutions of higher education and the twenty-sixth position overall. This is a high indicator of activity, because TNMU is a worthy leader among multidisciplinary universities which have many thousands of staff and more than several tens of thousands of student communities.
When evaluating the activities of universities, UniRank took into account the quality of education, the availability of licenses for educational activities, the education of students with at least a bachelor’s degree, as well as the opportunity to obtain a master’s degree and study at a post-graduate level.
The main goal of the founders of the rating is to determine the most popular universities based on reliable, unbiased information provided by independent sources, and not by the universities themselves.
When determining the rating, the presence of the university in social networks is also taken into account. TNMU Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/tdmu.official/) ranks 9th among the official pages of 150 higher education institutions. The indicators for 2022 were taken into account, when the page was followed by 18,707 people, and today it is already 19,689 people. Today, the organic reach of the TNMU Facebook page is more than 640,000 people.
As for the page on Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/ternopil.medical.university/), also taking into account last year’s indicators, TNMU is in 23rd place. At the beginning of 2022, the number of subscribers was 6279 people, as of March 23, 2023, the number of subscribers is 7529 people with a weekly organic reach of more than 20 thousand, of which 14.6 thousand are not TNMU subscribers.
The official YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCCwOL-NkpaJAsikOzjvngoQ) is also actively developing, which has 2.8 thousand subscribers and contains many interesting videos.
