Two month Scholar-at-Risk Fellowship

The Luxembourg Centre for Contemporary and Digital History (C²DH) invites humanities scholars at risk to apply for a two-month research stay at the centre during the 2026 calendar year. Applicants are expected to pursue their own research, which can relate to any region in the world and is ideally related to contemporary, public or digital history, broadly understood. Fellowship holders will be assigned to one of the centre’s research departments and asked to present their current project in a seminar or colloquium. The fellowship carries a monthly reimbursement of 1,200€ for accommodation and 1,800€ for living expenses (these amounts should cover all expenses, including travel to Luxembourg). C²DH will support the scholar in finding accommodation in Luxembourg, and also provide office space and other relevant facilities. Deadline: October 15. https://www.uni.lu/c2dh-en/news/scholar-at-risk-fellowship-2026/
