TNMU Ranked First Among Medical Universities of Ukraine in the Global UNIRANKS Ranking

I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University has confirmed its high standing on the international educational stage by ranking first among medical higher education institutions in Ukraine in the prestigious global UNIRANKS 2026 ranking. The university also secured 14th place among all Ukrainian universities. This achievement reflects the high quality of specialist training and the university’s compliance with modern global standards.

UNIRANKS is the world’s largest open ranking platform, covering higher education institutions in more than 190 countries. Unlike traditional systems that focus primarily on scientific publications, UNIRANKS applies a student-centered approach.

The ranking methodology is based on 10 key indicators, including graduate employability and career prospects, student well-being and learning experience, quality of education and innovation in academic programs, and the institution’s digital transformation and global reputation.

TNMU’s high position in the UNIRANKS ranking is the result of the university team’s continuous efforts to improve the educational process, develop its research base, and strengthen international cooperation.
