The Call is aimed at supporting current individual projects for excellent research and developments by Ukrainian researchers.
- Thematic areas of the Call: fundamental and applied issues across all fields of science, related to addressing the most pressing research challenges aimed at the technological, economic, social, and cultural advancement of Ukraine.
- The thematic area of the research and developments projects (hereinafter – the Projects) submitted for the Call shall correspond to at least one of the branches of science and technology development (in accordance with Article 3 of the Law of Ukraine ‘On Priority Branches of Science and Technology Development’):
- national security and defense;
- fundamental research on the most urgent issues in the development of scientific and technical, social and economic, social and political, human potential to ensure Ukraine’s competitiveness in the world and sustainable development of society and the state;
- information and communication technologies;
- power and energy efficiency;
- rational use of natural resources;
- life sciences, new technology for the prevention and treatment of the most common diseases;
- new substances and materials.

- Duration of the projects to be selected based on the results of the Call: up to 2 years.
- Total amount of funding for projects to be selected based on the results of the Call: up to UAH 100 mln (up to UAH 50 mln in 2027 and up to UAH 50 mln in 2028).
- Date and time of the start of application submission: 01.04.2026.
- Deadline for submission: 01.05.2026
Terms for conducting scientific and scientific and technical reviewing and announcement of the results of the Call: until 15.12.2026 (tentative).
