National unity events dedicated to the Day of Ukrainian Writing and Language at TNMU

Every year on November 9, Ukraine celebrates Day of Ukrainian Writing and Language. On October 15-17, 2019, 5th Academic Ukrainian-German School of Pediatrics (Deutsch – Ukrainischer Padiatrie – Seminarkongress) with international participation was hosted. TNMU newly elected Student Parliament began its work

On October 22, 2019, TNMU held elections to the Student Parliament. In the academic year 2019-2020, it will include 26 students. However, this is not yet the final composition of the parliament, as on November 8, 2019 there will be additional elections for the representatives of international 2nd and 3rd year medical and 4th year dentistry students. TNMU students received honorary diplomas from the Mayor of Ternopil

In order to implement the project “Ternopil – the students’ capital of Ukraine”, on October 31, 2019, the city-wide international festival “INTERnopilNow” was held at the Berezil Concert Hall, during which rectors of four Ternopil universities signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Ternopil City Council, and the best international students were awarded honorary diplomas. TNMU students from Poland organized a concert for the patients of Mykulyntsi Physical Therapy Hospital

On October 29, 2019, the Association of Polish Students organized a charity concert for patients of Mykulyntsi Regional Physical Therapy Hospital. The visitors had the opportunity to enjoy popular Polish songs performed by the student ensemble, as well as the world-famous operas from Italy and Spain by the President of the Association of Polish Students Hubert Mikosha. TNMU student won the first prize in the song festival “Kryshtalevyi zhaivir”

Three international students of I.Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University participated in the international singing competition “Kryshtalevyi zhaivir”, namely Vinit Musle (India), Hubert Mikosha (Poland) and Gabriela Bigolas (Poland). For 20 years, this vocal art competition has brought together the most talented young singers. “Kryshtalevyi zhaivir” is the first amateur festival in the history of Ternopil region, which has been gradually transformed from regional to official international competition.
