TNMU Students Continue the Implementation of the Students’ Mental Health Support Project

Ternopil National Medical University continues the implementation of the “Mental Health Support” project. Its purpose is to deliver various thematic lectures on mental state support.

The project is organised by the third-year students who are guided by their tutors at the Department of Pharmacology and Clinical Pharmacology Ilona Kohut, Yuliana Saiuk and Maksym Kaleniuk (MM-303). These lectures cover not only Ternopil schools, but also general educational institutions in other regions.

During the week, lectures on the topic “Hello, future student” were given in schools of Khmelnytskyi and Zhytomyr regions.

Fourth-year students (MM-414) Aliona Gaichenko, Yevhen Kovtun and Maria Kravets participated in this event, too. They told future university students about the impact of stress on person’s emotional state with more detail about such a condition as exam anxiety and how to cope with it. Students also talked about studying at our university, shared advice on admission and answered all questions about TNMU.

The information and photographs were provided by Ilona Kohut.
