TNMU Students Told Schoolchildren about Eating Disorders

On December 5, 2023, TNMU fourth-year students, Myroslav Fedorovych and Ruslana Khrustavka, gave a lecture on the topic “Malnutrition and eating disorders” for children of the 9th and 10th grades of A. Yurkevych Ternopil Secondary School No. 13.

The purpose of the event was to tell the schoolchildren what poor nutrition is, how it can be corrected, and what its consequences can lead to. The students discussed variants of eating disorders, how they can be recognized in the early stages and how to act in case of their detection.

After the lecture, a small quiz was held to consolidate the information received, the most active participants received tasty and useful prizes.

It was important for TNMU students to use their medical knowledge in order to convey important information and teach the younger generation to apply it correctly.
