TNMU Paediatric Team Provided Consultations for Patients of Kremenets Support Hospital
The paediatric team of TNMU, which included Associate Professors of the Department of Children Diseases and Paediatric Surgery, T. O. Vorontsova, V. O. Synytska, and M. D. Protsailo. and Assistant Professor of the Department of Neurology, neurologist R. B. Nasalyk were in Kremenets Support Hospital for the purpose of counselling patients.

Our specialists examined 56 patients who were referred by family doctors for consultations. These were children from the dispensary group who needed an examination and opinion of specialized specialists. Children’s orthopaedist, Assoc. Prof. M. D. Protsailo examined 13 patients with orthopaedic pathology, prescribed additional examinations and treatment. A patient with newly diagnosed Perthes disease was identified.
Rheumocardiologist Assoc. Prof. V. O. Synytska consulted children with congenital heart defects, functional murmurs. Gastroenterologist Assoc. Prof. T. O. Vorontsova consulted children up to one year old with irrational nutrition, functional disorders of the digestive system. Both specialists consulted 20 patients.
Neurologist R. B. Nasalyk consulted 23 patients with various pathologies of the nervous system in a polyclinic and in an inpatient hospital.
The trip was effective, as the children were examined by specialists and received highly qualified advice.
