TNMU Teachers and Intern Doctors Took Part in the International Conference “War. Trauma Psychotherapy”

On November 10-11, 2023, Associate Professor of TNMU Department of Psychiatry, Narcology and Medical Psychology Lesia Sas (PhD in Medicine), Assistant Professor of the department Tetiana Ivanitska and intern psychiatrists Roman Shevchuk and Uliana Sosnovska took part in the International Conference “War. Trauma Psychotherapy”. The event was held at the Ukrainian Catholic University in Lviv.

The conference encompassed a wide range of activities, including plenary reports, breakout sessions, workshops and tutorials. As part of the event, a round table discussion of psychologists, psychiatrists and psychotherapists working with wartime trauma was held.

Over the course of two days, the results of fundamental research, new diagnostic approaches, and the implementation of national guidelines for psychosomatic diseases were reviewed. Leading Ukrainian and foreign speakers presented interesting reports which were useful both from a scientific and practical point of view.
