Professor of TNMU Department of Psychiatry Took Part in the Meeting of the Coordinating Council for Mental Health

On October 10, 2023, a meeting of the Coordinating Council for Mental Health and a discussion panel of event participants (family doctors, psychiatrists, deputies, social workers, educational psychologists) on the topic “How mental health services work in different areas” was held at Ternopil Regional Military Administration.

DSc in Medicine, Professor, Head of TNMU Department of Psychiatry, Narcology and Medical Psychology Olena Venger took part in the event. During the meeting, Professor Olena Venger shared with the audience her vision of the prospects for providing services in the field of mental health.

The event was timed to World Mental Health Day. On the initiative of the First Lady of Ukraine, the mental health program “How are you?” has been operating in Ukraine for over a year. The purpose of this program is to contribute to the formation in society of a culture of caring for mental health, to give understanding and to show tools that will help Ukrainians to take care of their psychological condition.
