TNMU Scientists Participated in the 24th National Congress of Cardiologists of Ukraine
Scientists of the Department of Emergency Medical Care of I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University took part in the 24th National Congress of Cardiologists of Ukraine, which was held on September 19 – 22, 2023 in Kyiv. This year, at the biggest event of the year for the Ukrainian cardiology community, 5 scientific reports were presented by the staff of the department.


The cardiology school of Ternopil National Medical University was presented with work that continued the long-term search for opportunities to improve approaches to cardiac rehabilitation of patients with myocardial infarction. The report was prepared under the supervision of Professor Mykola Shved and Professor Larysa Levytska and was presented by Mykhailo Kashuba, a post-graduate student of the department. It aroused the interest of the audience and a lively discussion by cardiorehabilitation specialists.

In the work of the section of young scientists, the presentation of the report on the topic: “Features of Cardiovascular Risk during the COVID-19 Pandemic”, presented by the head of the department scientific club “Healthy Heart of Ukraine” , Victoria Yurkiv, was appraised for its special relevance and interesting methodological approach.

At the end of the congress, scientists of the department presented 3 poster reports on current topics.

Fantastic impressions and bright emotions from participation in the main scientific event of Ukrainian cardiologists will be remembered for a long time by young scientists, providing inspiration for new ideas and achievements. We dedicate our work on the scientific front to the defenders of Ukraine, because it was thanks to the heroism of our soldiers that this event was able to take place.
