Teachers of the Department of Physiology, Bioethics and Biosafety Joined the Day of Health for Victory Charity Event

On October 1, 2023, teachers of TNMU Department of Physiology, Bioethics and Biosafety together with their tutor groups joined the charity event “Day of Health for Victory”.

This marathon is initiated by the Ukrainian Medical Society in Lviv and the World Federation of Ukrainian Medical Societies.

The event was dedicated to the International Doctor’s Day and Defender of Ukraine Day, which aimed to provide a number of useful activities dedicated to health. In particular, providing an opportunity to determine one’s own cardiovascular risk, to gain knowledge about healthy nutrition and mental health, to master the basics of pre-medical care, stopping bleeding.

In the program of the event, it was recommended to include the elements of Nordic walking and terrenkur.

A similar event was held in Germany, Slovakia and Switzerland. The motto of such activities is to draw attention to the need to engage in physical culture and do it for pleasure. This is how you need to maintain your health physiologically and with benefit!
