TNMU Students Launched Information Campaign Fighting E-Cigarettes

On September 20 and October 20, 2023, 6th-year students Andrii Kondratyshyn and Mariana Reshitnyk held a course of lectures on the topic “Electronic cigarettes: negative impact on youth health” for the 6th-grade students of Ternopil Specialized School No. 3. The campaign was initiated by Associate Professor Roksolana Bodnar.

This informational event was aimed at raising students’ awareness of the effects of e-cigarettes and developing the skills to make informed decisions about their own health.

During the presentation, schoolchildren learned about the consequences of nicotine use on the physical and mental state of the body. Marketing strategies used by tobacco companies to attract young people to use electronic cigarettes were also discussed.
