TNMU Students Conducted Art Therapy Session for Pupils of Rehabilitation Centre

On October 19, 2022, participants of the university volunteer organization “Misericordia” Yuliia Vitiuk and Diana Storoshchuk organized an art therapy class for the pupils from Ternopil Educational and Rehabilitation Centre.

Due to the air alarm, the future doctors together with the pupils were moved to a shelter, which is equipped with desks and places to sit, and continued their classes there. Children together with the students created 18 pictures with the help of leaves, coloured paper, glue and felt-tip pens and decorated the shelter with an autumn photo zone. The emotional state of the children has noticeably improved. The children had fun and were distracted. Today it is extremely important for everyone to maintain a high spirit. The participants of the event also tasted cookies and juice and took many photos as a memory. Stationery was presented to the children as a gift.
