TNMU Teacher is the Winner of the Creativity Competition
Natalia Volotovska, Assistant Professor of the Department of Physiology, Bioethics and Biosafety of TNMU won the 7th International Festival-Competition of Ukrainian Culture in Slovenia “Berehynia” for her author’s song written and inspired by the film “Neskoreni (Unconquered)”. The event was organized by Ukrainians in Slovenia, i.e. the Berehynia Union.
The initiators of the competition invited Ukrainians from all over the world to present contemporary Ukrainian art. The festival took place on June 25-29, 2021 in the city of Žalec online. The results of these creativity competition have been announced recently.
The organizers noticed that the purpose of the festival was to find and support young performers, artists, creating favourable conditions for their creative potential, development, improvement, preservation, promotion, revival of folk crafts and studying original cultural and historical traditions, spiritual and material culture in a wide children, youth creativity, development of professional skills of young artists and identifying the best performers in various arts.
“It was such an unexpected gift of fate for me, when many years later the footage of my favourite movie, which impressed me in school, was combined with my song… It was recorded during the internship, but this year I submitted it to the competition,” added Natalia Volotovska.
