International Students of TNMU Studied Fundamentals of First Medical Aid

A training session on the fundamentals of first medical aid was held on April 4, 2021. It was organized by the team of the MedGradient student project of TNMU for junior students of the International Students Faculty.

At first, all participants mastered the theory of first medical aid in case of emergency or critical situation. After each theoretical block, students developed their skills of cardiopulmonary resuscitation, stabilization of the victim or the injured, ensuring airway patency, and bleeding management. Student-doctors also learned to properly call an ambulance and worked out various scenarios that can take place in real life.

The representatives of the Red Cross Society in Ternopil region shared their knowledge with the TNMU students.

29 students joined the seminar. They willingly learn fundamentals of first aid.

Khan Mohammad Shumayel Athar, Smit Patel, the members of the MedGradient project, were the managers of the event.
