Final LXIV Research and Training Conference “Achievements of Clinical and Experimental Medicine” in TNMU

On June 11, 2021, the annual Final LXIV Research and Training Conference “Achievements of Clinical and Experimental Medicine” was held online in I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University.

Besides TNMU scientists, the experts from Kyiv, Zaporizhzhia, Vinnytsia, Lviv, Odesa, Zhytomyr, Dnipro, Kharkiv and Ivano-Frankivsk joined the event. A plenary session was organized on the Microsoft Teams platform. Poster presentations by the conference participants are posted on the Google Drive cloud server. All conference materials are presented in the collection in the sections “Internal Medicine, Infectious Diseases, Psychiatry and Neurology”, “Surgery, Oncology, Orthopedics and Traumatology”, “Achievements of Contemporary Dentistry”, “Maternity and Childhood Protection”, “Experimental Medicine, Normal Morphology and in pathology, achievements of contemporary pharmacy” and “Innovations in higher medical school”.

Professor Ivan Klishch, the Vice-Rector for Research, welcomed the participants on behalf of the university administration and Professor Mykhayo Korda, the university Rector. He noted that annual final research and training conferences at the end of the academic year is traditional at I. Horbachevsky Ternopil State Medical University.

Professor Ihor Deikalo, the Head of the Department of General Surgery of TNMU, presented the report on “Unusual situations in biliary surgery”.

Maria Shkilna, Associate Professor of the Department of Infectious Diseases with Epidemiology, Dermatology and Venerology reported on “Clinical-epidemiological and immunological aspects of Lyme borreliosis, improving the diagnosis of this infectious disease”.

Serhii Konovalenko, Associate Professor of the Department of Operative Surgery and Clinical Anatomy, presented a report on “Peculiarities of remodeling of testicular structures in endogenous and exogenous intoxications”.

Vitaliy Kulchytskyi, Associate Professor of the Department of Higher Education Pedagogy and Social Sciences of TNMU, reported on “Patriotic upbringing of an individual in development of the national education”.

At the end of the Final LXIV Research and Training Conference “Achievements of Clinical and Experimental Medicine” Oksana Shevchuk, the Head of the Research Office summed up the results of the meeting.

The format of the videoconference allowed presenting the scientific achievements of the participants and was a platform for scientific discussion, joint viewing and fruitful debates on videos and presentations.
