TNMU Presented Its Achievements at the Forum “Ternopil Region – a Cluster of Opportunities”

On June 9, 2021, a forum-presentation of the economic potential of our region “Ternopil region – a cluster of opportunities” took place in Kyiv. A delegation of Ternopil National Medical University was represented by Oksana Shevchuk, Acting Vice-Rector for Research, Head of the Research Department.

The event was organized by Ternopil Regional Council together with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Ukraine. The forum was opened by Dmytro Razumkov, the Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and Hennadii Chyzhykov, the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Ukraine. During the event the participants discussed the potential of Ternopil region, possible ways of investment cooperation, presented the best companies in the region, its tourist attractions and institutions of education.

The representatives of more than 30 countries, international organizations, top banking institutions, investment companies interested in implementation of business projects in Ukraine joined the event.

TNMU presented its capacity, the latest scientific achievements, innovative medical inventions, book products of the Ukrmedknyha publishing house, scientific journals at the forum. The delegation told about the organization of the learning process, international cooperation, academic mobility, answered the guests’ questions.

“We are pleased that many visitors to the event were interested in the achievements and studying at TNMU. It was nice to hear positive feedback about our university. I believe that this is the result of work of the whole university staff, because through its coordinated work TNMU is a leader among medical institutions of higher education in Ukraine, and in the top of international and national ratings,” said Oksana Shevchuk
