Medical Students were Volunteers during Vaccination of Ternopil Citizens

This weekend, on June 5-6, 2021, on the initiative of Ternopil Regional State Administration and Ternopil City Council, a temporary COVID-19 vaccination station for citizens of Ternopil region was established at O. Dovzhenko Central Medical Research Institute.

This is the first vaccination station for residents of the city of Ternopil and the region. Ternopil joined the national vaccination campaign according to the Resolution of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

At the request of the Department of Health of Ternopil Regional State Administration and the Department of Health and Medical Support of Ternopil City Council, and on the initiative of the administration of TNMU medical students of our university were volunteers during vaccination.

These days, CoronaVac vaccination was available for everyone: not only for those registered in the Diia application. Over 700 citizens of Ternopil and the region were vaccinated during two days.

Thus, vaccination will be available for everyone every weekend, and people from special categories defined by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine: doctors, teachers, etc. will be vaccinated during the other days of the week.

Open hours of the vaccination station at O. Dovzhenko Central Medical Research Institute, at 45 Zluky Avenue, are: every day from 9.00 to 16.00.
