TNMU will promote the work of the Centre for Medical and Social Rehabilitation in Terebovlia district
On October 4, 2019, the Centre for Medical and Social Rehabilitation was established in Ilavche village (Terebovlia district). The Centre was opened with the assistance and support of German Charity Fund in Bielefeld (Germany).
The Head of the Ternopil Regional Council V. V. Ovcharuk, Head of Terebovlia District Council I. M. Smilskyi, Vice-Rector for Science, Education and Clinical Affairs of I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University, Professor S. Yo. Zaporozhan, Head of the Charity Fund of Bielefeld (Germany) Peter Reger, Head of Health Care Department of Ternopil Regional State Administration V. H. Bohaichuk spoke with their welcoming address at the opening of the Centre.
The Center for Medical and Social Rehabilitation is provided with special rehabilitation equipment for active and passive rehabilitation, diagnostic equipment, thanks to the efforts of the charity staff.
The agreement between the Center and TNMU will help to provide high-quality assistance to the population of the region by teachers and students of the medical faculty (Specialty “Physical health”). The students will have the opportunity to have practical training here.
