Outreach work of TSMU students

Recently, students Ternopil State Medical University who volunteer for the Red Cross, collaboration with the Youth Committee of Ternopil-Zboriv Archdiocese organized in Ternopil regional perinatal center “Mother and Child” a social event dedicated to the World Day of the patient.

Young people aimed to give moral support to pregnant women on bed rest. They talked with the patients and presented them with small souvenirs.

The meeting and conversation were a pleasant surprise for the expectant mothers.  Their sincere smiles proved that attention and care from the doctors in training were appreciated. For the students this was yet another confirmation that even words can heal.
