Ternopil State Medical University will collaborate with Swedish medical institutions

Recently representatives of medical institutions from Sweden met with the Ternopil State Medical University rector Dr. Mykhaylo Korda to discuss areas of future cooperation. The Swedish delegation consisted of coordinator Marie Siestedt, cardiac surgeon Mogens Bugge, surgeon Patrik Cikota, professor C.G. Ekstrem, and medical technician Stephen Andersson.

Dr. Korda told the guests about TSMU, its activities and plans activities for development, and outlined possible areas of cooperation.

During the meeting, the delegation and TSMU administration discussed incoming lectures by the heart surgeon Mogen Bugge for students and teachers of the University. Also discussed were directions for cooperation towards the training of instructors and students of our university in clinics and medical institutions of Sweden, implementation of joint scientific projects, and academic exchange programs.
