TSMU students planted an orchard

Administration of the Faculty of Medicine and Student Council of Ternopil State Medical University initiated on March 16, 2017 planting of 60 fruit trees on the grounds of Academic  and Recreation complex Chervona Kalyna. Students and instructors have dedicated this event to the upcoming 60th anniversary of TSMU.

” First and second year students from the Faculty of Medicine were actively involved in laying out the orchard. We would like to thank the Dean Halyna Krytska for her organizational support.  We have planted 60 fruit trees, including apples, pears, tart cherries, plums, cherries, apricots and peaches. The idea came from the students. For their part, Student Council and the administration helped to implement this initiative “, – said council’s chairman Ihor Stetsiuk.

We hope that the orchard takes root, grows and bears fruit, and wish doctors in training further successes and realization of their ideas.
