Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India to Ukraine Visited TNMU

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India to Ukraine Ravi Shankar, who began his work as the Head of the diplomatic service of India in our country in May 2024, is visiting the Ternopil region on October 9-11.

He had the opportunity to communicate in an informal atmosphere with students from India who came to study in Ternopil. Ravi Shankar met with the leaders of the region and the city, and also discussed possible areas of cooperation.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India to Ukraine Ravi Shankar visited Ternopil National Medical University on October 10. He had the opportunity to talk with the university’s Rector, Professor Mykhailo Korda.

Professor Korda introduced the foreign notables to the university’s work and achievements, introduced innovative approaches to the educational process, etc.

In addition, the Ambassador had a meeting with students from India studying medicine at TNMU. Today, 131 citizens of India study at Ternopil Medical University. 279 students completed their studies during 2022-2024, and before the full-scale invasion – at the end of January 2022 – 1,400 students from the Republic of India studied at TNMU.
