Students of TNMU Organized a Concert in Honor of the Defenders of Ukraine

“Strength of the Unconquered” – under this slogan, Ukraine celebrates the Day of Defenders of Ukraine. This holiday was started to honor the courage and heroism of Ukrainians who defend our country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

On October 9, 2024, the concert program “Strong and Unconquered” was organized by the TNMU students, the “Art-drama” theater studio, and the TNMU choir.

Oksana Boychuk performed the song “Ballad about Mallows,” Anna Khmelnytska – the song “Strength of the Family,” and the group of girls consisting of Iryna Kushnir, Sofiia Kuharchuk, and Diana Salyk presented a dance.

The composition “Maple Ballad” was performed by Yuliia Yurchuk.

The theater studio “Art-drama” offered a short retrospective of the historical formation of our state called “I am Ukraine,” which reflected the main milestones of Ukrainian history.

The famous song “Under a Cloud” was sung by Anastasia Yuskiv.

Olena Bartysh recited the poem “Torn Angel.”

The male student ensemble “Lehit” performed the Cossack song “Hey, I Had a Horse.”

The TNMU choir performed two well-known marches: “We Were Born in a Great Hour” (the anthem of the URA, which became the anthem of the Armed Forces of Ukraine) and “For Ukraine!”.

The song “Appreciate Life” was performed by Anastasiia Slobodian.

The song “Tsunamia” is a female image of a tsunami. It was sung by Oleksandra Stavnycha.

Another dance was demonstrated to the audience by Viktoriia Moskalyuk and Kateryna Petrenko. Tymofiy Sobchuk and Bohdan Mushenko sang the legendary composition “The Groves Chide, I Listen.”

The song “Ukraine Will Win” was dedicated to the indomitable Ukrainian people and was performed by Valentyna Tumanova.

Love for one’s country and the need to respect one’s native land is spoken about in the song “Country to Himself.” Vadym Nevidomskyi and Oleg Gapko sang this composition.

The evening guest was the Associate Professor of L.Ya. Kovalchuk Department of Surgery No. 1 with Urology, Minimally Invasive Surgery, Honored Artist of Ukraine – Yuriy Futuyma.
