Medical Faculty Students Were Introduced to the National Immunization Portal
As part of the signed memorandum of cooperation between I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University and the public association The Coalition for Vaccination, the Public Health and Healthcare Management Department staff, along with the regional project coordinator, Nadiya Shubala, discussed the goals and directions of cooperation.

In particular, systematic meetings with the Medical Faculty students were initiated to introduce them to the National Immunization Portal, developed by The Coalition for Vaccination within the framework of the USAID project “Building a Resilient Public Health System.” The National Immunization Portal (http://vaccine.org.ua) is the first specialized resource in Ukraine dedicated to all issues related to vaccine-preventable infections, vaccinations, and vaccine use. It is designed for both immunization professionals and the general public of Ukraine.
The portal contains information about the national immunization schedule and vaccines used for children and adults in Ukraine, risk groups that require immunization against infectious diseases, and immunization for specific professions. The portal also provides information about contagious diseases for which vaccinations are conducted in Ukraine. Immunization of pregnant women, breastfeeding women, and the elderly is presented in a separate section of the portal.

Students actively participate in these meetings, ask questions, and receive comprehensive answers.
