DEAR COLLEAGUES!
We have the honor to invite you to participate in the V All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference with International Participation “Simulation Training in Undergraduate and Postgraduate Education of Medical Professionals” (“SimCon-2024”), which will be held on December 05-06, 2024 in the online mode at the Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine (TNMU).
SCIENTIFIC PROGRAM December 05-06, 2024
- Experience in implementing educational and professional training programs for higher education students using simulation training methods at higher medical institutions.
- Implementation of communicative competencies in the aspect of simulation training of future doctors.
- Innovative methods/technologies of simulation training: practical experience and recommendations of SESAM 2024.
- Experience of conducting OSCE as an assessment of competencies of higher education applicants.
- Experience in training paramedics using simulation training methods.
Form of participation: Offline, online
The conference will include:
- VII International Olympiad in Simulation Medicine among applicants for higher medical education (emergency and urgent medical care) “TernopilSimOlymp-2024”
- Master classes:
– Basic and advanced resuscitation of adults, including trauma according to ERC guidelines;
– Basic and advanced resuscitation in pediatrics according to ERC guidelines;
– FAST protocol in the injured patient;
– Providing emergency medical care in an accident, immediate evacuation from the car;
– Stopping critical external bleeding, tourniquet conversion
– Management of a patient with hemorrhagic shock. Hemotransfusion at pre-hospital and early hospital stages.
The conference materials will be published in a collection of abstracts and sent to registered participants in text and pdf formats.
When preparing abstracts, please follow the requirements:
- The text of the abstracts should be submitted in electronic version, in Word editor, 1.5 intervals (28-30 lines per page), Times New Roman font, size 14 pt (up to 1800-1900 characters with spaces per page), up to 4 pages in length.
- Materials should be submitted in *.doc or *.rtf format.
Structure of materials:
– title of the work (in capital letters);
– initials and surnames of the authors;
– full name of the institution;
– introduction;
– main part;
– conclusions.
Author’s note: please indicate the speaker’s surname, name, patronymic, position, academic degree or academic title, postal address, contact phone number, and e-mail in several spaces. The cost of publication is 200 UAH per page.
