Scheduled Meeting of the Academic Council of TNMU

On February 25, 2025, under the chairmanship of the university Rector, Professor M. Korda, a scheduled meeting of the Academic Council of TNMU was held.

Before the meeting, academician Mykhailo Andreichyn received congratulations on his anniversary
birthday.

In a solemn ceremony, the Rector also presented acknowledgments from the Ministry of Health of
Ukraine for significant achievements in professional activities and dedicated work to Professor
Valentyn Franchuk

and Associate Professor Svitlana Trach-Rosolovska.

Professor Yuriy Rudyak was awarded a certificate of merit from the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.

Doctor of Philosophy diplomas were awarded to:

• Olesia Mdinaradze,

• Roman Huk.

The first item on the agenda was competitive matters: the academic secretary, Professor I.
Herasymiuk, provided information about candidates for department head positions and academic
titles.

Following a secret ballot, Professor Liliya LoHoyda was elected the Head of the Department of
Pharmaceutical Chemistry.

The academic titles of Associate Professors were conferred upon:

• Andrii Banadyha – Department of Surgery No. 2,

• Elina Parashchuk – Department of Pharmacognosy and Medical Botany,

• Yaryna Yosyk – Department of Infectious Diseases with Epidemiology, Dermatology, and Venereology,

• Kateryna Kytsai – Department of Therapy and Family Medicine.

Chief Accountant Tetiana Mudryk presented information on the university’s financial and economic activities for 2024.

A report on the activities of the Faculty of Dentistry was delivered by the Dean of the Faculty, Associate Professor Svitlana Boitsaniuk.

Deputy Rector for Publishing Affairs Liubov Lohin reported on the activities of the “Ukrmedknyha” publishing house.

The Vice-Rector for Research, Professor Ivan Klishch, provided updates on current matters.
