TNMU Welcomeв Students from Ternopil Secondary School No. 8

On February 25, 2025, graduating students from Ternopil Secondary School No. 8 visited Ternopil National Medical University.

The Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Professor Arkadii Shulhai, introduced the university and its main structural divisions, highlighting the specifics of training specialists in medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, physical therapy, and nursing.

Ihor Drach, the Executive Secretary of the Admissions Committee, provided insights into the 2025 admission campaign.

The students visited the Institute of Morphology, where they had the opportunity to meet and interact with faculty members and students involved in the educational process.

Lecturers from the Department of Histology and Embryology welcomed the guests and organized an engaging tour of lecture halls and the morphological sector of the interdepartmental educational and research laboratory. They also demonstrated modern medical equipment used in education and scientific research in histology.

At the Department of Anatomy, students learned about anatomy as an academic discipline and its crucial role in the training of medical professionals. They were also invited to visit the anatomical museum, where they discovered fascinating details about the structure of the human body.

Faculty members from the Department of Pathological Anatomy with a Sectional Course and Forensic Medicine introduced the visitors to the subjects taught at the department and their significance in medical practice. They also explained the specifics of a pathologist’s work and its importance in the healthcare system.
