TNMU Student Presented Her Scientific Research at a Conference in Warsaw

On April 11–13, 2025, the 20th Warsaw International Medical Congress (WIMC 2025) took place in Warsaw, where Aliona Haichenko (MM-514) represented the student scientific community of I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University. WIMC is one of the largest international congresses for medical students in the field of research and education in Central Europe.

Thanks to the support and guidance of her academic supervisor, Associate Professor Viktoriia Martyniuk from the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology No. 1, and the Head of the Department, Professor Larysa Malanchuk, Aliona presented her scientific work:
“Assessment of Quality of Life and Social Activity of Women of Post-Reproductive Age According to the Results of the Green Scale and Kupperman Menopausal Index.”

She conducted the research jointly with fellow TNMU students Solomiia Savchuk (MM-514) and Nazarii Krulyk (MM-573).

The conference opened new professional horizons for Aliona Haichenko: networking with peers from around the world, attending lectures by leading international experts, and participating in various practical sessions. This experience enhanced her practical skills and provided valuable inspiration for future scientific endeavors.

Alyona was awarded a grant that covered accommodation expenses for a three-day stay at a hotel near the campus of the Medical University of Warsaw, where the congress was held.

She expresses her sincere gratitude to Professor Olha Fedortsiv for her support and assistance in preparing for the conference.
