Participation of TNMU Faculty in the International Scientific and Technical Conference “State and Prospects of Food Science and Industry”

On September 25–26, 2025, Head of the Department of Pharmacognosy and Medical Botany of I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University, Professor Svitlana Marchyshyn, and Associate Professor of the Department of Pharmacy Management, Economics, and Drug Technology, Lidiia Budniak, took part in the 8th International Scientific and Technical Conference “State and Prospects of Food Science and Industry.” The event was dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Department of Food Biotechnology and Chemistry of Ivan Pului Ternopil National Technical University and was held on the premises of TNTU.

Professor Marchyshyn delivered a plenary lecture on “Study of Biologically Active Substances of the Thick Extract of Tagetes patula and Its Application in Bakery Production.”

In collaboration with researchers of the Department of Food Biotechnology and Chemistry of TNTU, with which TNMU has a cooperation agreement, the report “Study of the Content of Phenolic Compounds in the Thick Extract of Tagetes Herb” (Marchyshyn S.M., Slobodianiuk L.V., Budniak L.I., Karpyk H.V., Vichko O.I.) was presented at the session “Food Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, and Functional Food Products.”
